‘I loved all of it – learning the principles, how to do it and then doing it. I thoroughly enjoyed it- learning, getting stuck in and seeing the finished article!' Risa, Community Mosaic Art workshop
Art is a potent stress buster! Creativity improves people’s self esteem, motivation and effectiveness at work and play. And because it promotes inclusion, art is a marvellous way to build strong teams from the bottom up.
Children learn vital life lessons
Children are natural creators; confident, experimental and happy to push boundaries. Kids of all ages benefit enormously from our art workshops, where they discover new things about themselves, their place in the world and other people in an educational, fun way.
Adults rediscover creative power
Creativity can be lost altogether in adulthood. We add layers of experience, cynicism, self consciousness and logic to the way we discover and decide things and react to the world. Adults find that newly-discovered creativity unleashes unexpected skills, ideas, concepts and enthusiasms… strengths that they’d lost or never found in the first place.
A tangible expression of your journey to discovery
Creative projects produce a huge sense of achievement. Even better, the work of art provides a tangible, lasting reminder of the experience.
Charity donations
We make charity donations to Julia’s House, the children’s charity, as well as materials / time and mosaics for the hospice. We also support Macmillan local day centre in Christchurch, Dorset and The Elephant Family.
