Poppies understand the need to create bright and eye catching artwork to brighten even the darkest corner, the immense enjoyment participants feel working together, social interaction and simply doing something out of the ordinary. 

Poppies offer art workshops to many different areas of our society, from nursery age, hard to reach young adults, special needs children, older adults and almost everything in between.

We would like to develop our strong links with out-of-school clubs and, community centres.

What Poppies can offer?

We can offer one-day projects for a series of workshops in building confidence and artistic ability based on a wide range of ideas from your group/budget and developed by us. 

Starter ideas:

• Your group logo / motto / celebration of a new building, anniversaries/ landmark occasions etc. custom made into striking mosaics by its members. This could then be mounted at the entrance, a special place of interest, inside or out…

• Individual mosaics / paintings that could be displayed separately or together

• Team building, social interaction activities using art workshops

• Art workshops have proven calming qualities and many different types of society can be drawn together in a series of activities.

• A religious artwork to celebrate an ethos, convey a message and in some religions an image.
